India loses a tight match against Netherlands after giving a tough fight to the dutch. Van Der Horst scored the first for the world's no. 3 in 20th min. The dutch went up 2-0 at the end of first half with Roderick scoring the 2nd in 29th min. India came right back in the came scoring two goals in just 4mins and equalizing but the dutch got better of them in the end when Van Der Weerden hit the ball on top left corner on a penalty corner. Dharamveer scored for India in the 44th min while Shivendra scored in the 48th min.

Spain Football Team Out of London Olympics

Today at St. James Park, Newcastle, the European  football giant Spain lost their 2nd straight match in the London Olympics against Honduras by a margin of 1-0. With this defeat Spain, who was hoping to bring in Gold medal, have been eliminated from the Olympics 

Three players combined for Bengtson’s third of the tournament during a break down the left in the seventh minute. Bengtson cut inside and the striker jumped over a defender to power in a header past Spain goalkeeper David de Gea.

Microsoft Announces New Computer Peripherals for Windows 8

Microsoft announces a new lineup of hardware as the launch of windows 8 is coming near on October 26. Microsoft hardware has announced several new computer peripherals, all finely tuned for windows 8 . These are including the Bluetooth capabilities for the more mobile devices-tablets and phones- as well.

In the coming weeks, Microsoft will launch two new Bluetooth enabled keyboards and two new mice to the market. Also with the release of Windows 8 Microsoft will release updated windows 8 gestures for the Microsoft Touch Mouse. Microsoft has named these as - the Wedge Touch Mouse, the Wedge Mobile Keyboard, the Sculpt Touch Mouse and the Sculpt Touch Keyboard.

Apple Samsung US Patent Trial on Monday.

Apple and Samsung Electronics  will battle another trial on Monday for their supremacy in  smartphone market in a federal courtroom in San Jose,California. This trial is  said to be one of the biggest ever technology trials in history. It could well reshape a the smartphone market.


The stakes are high with Samsung facing potential US sales ban of its Galaxy smartphones and tablet computers, and Apple in a test of its patent strategy. Both sides are seeking financial damages from the other.  Samsung is the world's biggest smartphone maker overtaking Nokia and Apple. Together, Samsung and Apple account for more than half of smartphone sales initially.

Apple sued Samsung last year claiming its smartphones copied the iPhone and ipad. Samsung also sued Apple and since then the two have expanded their fight to courtrooms in nearly a dozen other countries.

Apple's Upto Its Own iglass

 Apple Inc. is upto its own version of Google Glasses. Today the Cupertino based company has been awarded a patent of a wearable HUD that has the ability to display images, videos, apps and other content on the glasses using LCD projectors . With this Apple's also coming into the field of glasses after Google.

But Apple’s glasses would not have the projector in front of the eyes, instead it will be on the side of the eyeglasses.Apple’s patent describes a method in which the image travels through a special glass to land directly into the user’s pupils, thus creating a total immersive experience.




Google Fiber- Google's Ultra-High Speed Internet Service

Google unveils the ultra-high speed internet service Google Fiber. As claimed by Google Its is capable of delivering speeds of 1000Megabytes/Sec more than 100 times the internet speeds of an average user.

London Olympics

The biggest sport event in the world is about to start in about a day at the Olympic Stadium London. With a capacity of about 80,000, the Olympic Stadium in London will feature 'Isles of Wonder', the opening ceremony for the London Olympics 2012.

Oscar winning director Danny Boyle has been made the Artistic Director of the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony By LOCOG (London Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games), the organizing group of the Olympics.  

The 1981 movie 'Chariots of Fire' has been set the the recurring theme in promotion
for the Olympics which depicts the story of two British athletes in the 1924 Olympics.
