Google Fiber- Google's Ultra-High Speed Internet Service

Google unveils the ultra-high speed internet service Google Fiber. As claimed by Google Its is capable of delivering speeds of 1000Megabytes/Sec more than 100 times the internet speeds of an average user.

Initially, Google Fiber will be applied to Google's test city- Kansas City. Google will wait about 6 weeks for citizens to Pre-Register the service after which the service will be available to the users. Google is also giving the option of TV with their service.

Google is giving three plans for the service. The Gigabit Speed Internet+TV plan cost will cost about 120$/Month, the Gigabit/s only plan will cost about 70$/Month. The third plan will be giving free internet service to the users!!!! but at today's internet speeds. The users will only have to pay a fee of 300$ for the Network box and they will be able to upgrade to Fiber Service without any cost.

The  Google Fiber TV  will give users the ability to record 8 shows simultaneously and gives a whooping storage of 2Terabytes(Looks like we'll never be short of space again).

The homes of people will be connected to a local Google connectivity center (aka Google Fiber Hut) through poles which in turn will be connected to the National Internet Backbone of the country thus providing ultra-high speeds.

Google started this project in 2010 and selected Kansas city as its test city with an aim to improve the internet speed of users . We have to see when does this Google Fiber expands to other cities and other parts of the world and the world is truly at the click of our hand..
